Post-it Revolution Props

First of all, if any of you have participated in Operation Beautiful, you understand the “high” that you get from leaving your “good deed” note. I still smile from ear to ear just thinking about when I posted my note on the GNC scale at the mall. Well imagine my excitement when I got tipped off that my note was mentioned in the article written about Caitlin and her Operation Beautiful mission in a Florida newspaper?!

Just think about it for a second though. That’s Florida, this is Halifax, Canada. The note was the easiest thing I’ve ever done and it did make an impact. I think we underestimate just how powerful we truly can be. Good deeds do not go unnoticed and at the very least leave you beaming from the inside which is projected 1000 fold in other aspects of your life. I’ve been beaming from the inside ever since and the fact that it was recognized in a Florida newspaper only justifies the impact that kind of act has on people not just in our little corner of the world.

On that note, last night after Bootycamp, we all went out for sushi and Lynn pulls out a stack of post-it notes all created for the intended purpose of participating in this movement. She will find homes for each and every one of them I’m sure. I snagged one of them and found a home for one of them right then and there:

Thanks Lynn for lending a note ;-)

You need to remember what an inspiration you are!! Look at the people you've affected because of your biggest loser adventure. I'm one of those girls. And I truly do appreciate you and all you've done. I feel like you've been sending out sticky notes to me ever since I found your blog. Thanks Angie!!

Brooke: that is an incredibly kind thing to say! Thank you so much! I'm not quite sure you realize how much of an inspiration YOU are either lady! ;-)

How fun that you were recognized in a CA paper! I've slapped 2 in the locker room at my gym, but they frown upon cameras in there, so pics have not been taken. :D

WTG, Angie!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE operation beautiful!!! I have been putting notes everywhere (but I don't carry my camera with me cause my stealthy one isn't working right now!!)

I wanted to say re: your house comment a couple of posts ago...if you don't want to post pics that is perfectly fine!!! I posted pics of ours because I was really proud that we were able to get a house like we did...but sometimes pride isn't a great thing!!! Anyway I, for one, will see your house in due time!! I won't bug you for pics!!!
