Okay so you can probably guess what’s coming here for Breakfast, and at the risk of boring you with it, there’s no stopping this Green Monster kick because they are delicious and they keep me steady until noon!
I added a few fresh strawberries to the usual mix and it was perfect.
Beautiful rhododendron on my way into the office this morning all damp from the rain:
Another theme with me of late has been salmon. I love it! I’m having it left right and center it seems. I grilled up a few pieces last night to have ready as a “go to” source of protein this week and for Lunch today I had a piece over top of a bed of baby lettuces, cucumber, peppers, red onion, cherry tomatoes and a sliced feta stuffed jalapeno. Rather than add a thick dressing, I squeezed a fresh lemon over top and it was a delicious and filling and perfect:
Lunch held me over all afternoon and I had a few fresh strawberries for a late afternoon Snack and while they were tasty, I’m sure they are no comparison to the ones that we’ll be picking at Farm Girl’s farm next week! :-)![]()
I always need a snack when I get home from work for some reason, so I was happy to munch on a few of the Guiltless Gourmet Baked Tortilla chips that I received in the mail (Thanks Guiltless Gourmet!). I love these chips! Why in the h-e-double hockey sticks would anyone want to eat full fat, MSG laden Doritos when you can eat THESE?????
(As you can see I am still in the packing stage!)
Supper this evening was compliments a la Brooke who made a batch of the Zucchini Lasagna that I posted about in the Clean Eating Magazine and a roll and it was perfect too!
And I couldn’t possibly not finish off the day without a piece of organic dark chocolate. This was a spicy orange flavour which had a fun kick and the perfect way to top it off:
Tonight I’m going to make sure to drink more water because I only got through one of my bottles today! Maybe even some green tea?
I’ve also got something kind of fun to post later tonight, which pertains to what’s a buzz on the health blogsphere of late ;-)
Stay tuned…

& - I got me a big honkin' box of spinach - guess what's for brekkie!
Salmon is one healthy fish. It is a central feature of the Thermogenic Diet plan that scored one of the largest ever weight losses in Canada! But don't over do it. Sadly you have to keep an eye on pollutants in the water that get into the fish and then into you.
your progress pics are great! good job on the weight loss!
