Finally I’m starting to make my way back to a normal tummy, although not quite there yet. I hadn’t had a chance to load up on groceries until yesterday after work, so today was all goodness!
For Breakfast I enjoyed a cup of much needed coffee (since I do still feel like I was hit by a Mack truck with fatigue) and I enjoyed it in my new Starbucks mug! Do you notice anything special about my new mug? Hmmmm?????? ![]()
Well it just happens to have some very special messages on it from some very special people and I will treasure it forever, I know that ;-)
After coffee and after getting ready for work, I mixed myself up a much needed Green Monster that believe it or not, I have been craaaaaaving like mad!![]()
Today’s mix was my usual:
- 1 frozen banana
- 1c unsweetened vanilla almond breeze
- 1 tbsp salba
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 3-4c organic baby spinach
I was running a little late this morning so this on-the-go breakfast thing is so perfect!
I could hardly wait to dig into my baggie of fresh cherries this morning for my morning Snack:
Lunch was a fresh salad with cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red onion, crumbled goat cheese, small salmon filet and a drizzle of goddess dressing:
I was so tired I was about ready to fall asleep so I was happy to go to the Local Joe Cafe & Market for an Americano. This was the best Americano I’ve ever had. It killed Starbucks by miles (sorry girls). They had some samples of a biscotti which was perfection to end lunch. What better way to enjoy this and some bloggin’ in a cafe where I can relax by an open window :-)
I got hungry again in the afternoon, so I snacked on a peach and a small banana (this is a fake out pic because I left my camera in the car!):
I was hungry again when I got home (big surprise) and I snacked on some of those yummy Triscuits I had at Sarah’s a week ago and some salsa:
These are yummy little guys!
Triscuit + salsa = Yum :-)
Supper was an Amy’s Burrito doloped with some Liberte plaint organic svelte yogurt and organic salsa, with a side salad of lettuces, red onion, cucumber, cherry tomato, red peppers, yellow peppers, feta and goddess dressing:
And a perfect piece of dark organic chocolate to top it all off!
My body thanks me!
