Snack
I’ve been jonesin’ for a Cosmic cookie lately, so I took one out of the freezer to have today for a snack. And
How’s THAT for a hearty “cookie”? I seriously love these things and I can’t tell yas how happy I am to have the recipe! I have them in the freezer at all times!
And when I got home I did what I always seem to do and that’s immediately grab a snack. I kept it to a small handful of Kashis:
Supper
Hubby then calls on his way home from work and asks if I want to go out for supper. I’m not really in the mood for anything specific, so I agree. We ended up at a pub/restaurant called Lefty’s. It’s not a place that exactly has many healthier options. The food is great but not having more healthier options disappoints me. Hubby ordered some wings and chips for us to share as an appie. I ate my half’s worth even though I hadn’t planned on it:
And for my main course I ordered a fajita wrap on a whole wheat tortilla with a side salad. The tortilla was surprisingly tasty! Before tasting it I was only going to eat half, but I ended up eating it all because it was so yummy!
So I think I went over my calorie allowance for the day. C’est la vie.
Tomorrow’s plans include a spa facial at Cascades Spa (where I’ll be arriving early to make use of their steam shower and hot tub!) and then following that I’ll be heading over to a friends house for lunch, then a little pre-trip prep shopping to pick up whatever things I forgot about for our Toronto Blog GTG which is fast approaching!

Those cookies look awesome! I would HAVE to keep them in the freezer; out of sight, out of mind :)
Do you have any idea on the calories or nutritional value of these? They look great!!
Denise: The Cosmic Cookies? yes they are around 275 - 300 calories each. They are bit on the high side, but loaded with TONS of healthy benefits and are delicious!
