Breakfast
I started it of with a cuppa joe with cream and sipped while I blogged. I broke away from the Green
Monster today because I missed my oatmeal! It was a toss up though! But the oatmeal prevailed and I enjoyed every bit of it. It was a stacked bowl of oatmeal that consisted of:
- 1/3c oats
- 1/2c unsweetened chocolate almond breeze
- 1/2c water
- 1/2 banana
- 1 tbsp Salba
- splash vanilla/dash of cinnamon/pinch of salt
- 1/2 tbsp PB2 + 1/2 tbsp Chocolate PB2
- 1 tbsp goji berries
- 1/2 tbsp mini dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp cococut
- 1 tbsp Artisana Amazon Bliss
That held me over all day! We stopped over for a visit to a friend’s house and got to meet their new precious little 2 month old girl. I held her and fed her and she was adorable as expected! I had a cup of coffee with cream while I was there.

Then we realized we were running late for Cirque de Soliel! So we ran home, changed and ran back into the city just in time to pick up Subway at the Metro Centre 1o minutes before the show began:
We were in such a rush that I almost forgot to snap a pic and started eating my sub first ;-). I had a 6” turkey & ham on whole wheat with white cheddar, toasted, lettuce, tomato, onions, green pepper, pickles, banana pepper, light mayo, mustard & S$P. And a bag of Baked Lays and a Coke Zero:
And then we ran to our seats for the show! We were excited because we had floor seats and neither of us had ever seen Cirque du Soleil before. There were pros to the floor seats, but we were on even level with rows in front and it was hard to see over people’s heads, so at the intermission, we swapped for some lower bowl seats to watch the rest of the show. Now there was popcorn and fries that hubby and I split at the intermission, but no pic (which I blame on the prohibition of photography during the show). The entire thing was AMAZING and I was in “aw” of every single one of the performers. Each and every one of them was an in the flesh reminder of what the human body is capable of – absolutely amazing.

That is some serious oatmeal!! Makes me want some now.
I agree^. I think I'll have oatmeal tomorrow.
I would like to see Cirque de Soleil sometime, but I dunno if my husband would be into it.
PS--I LOVE your bowls!
If you have never had the pleasure of tasting Goji Berries, not only are you missing out on a great fruit, but also all of the health benefits that go with it.
Goji Juice
That oatmeal looks divine, what do you think of the goji berries?
Glad you had a good time at Cirque!
Which show did you see? Was it OVO?
Laura: we saw Alegria and I've been singing the song in my head ever since!
Cool. We are going to see OVO in Toronto in Sept - Can't wait...it is 2 days before the next half marathon so I am hoping to be 'inspired' by the athletics of Cirque.
