Belated Bhavana Birthday

I checked out this little boutique on Quinpool Road called Bhavana on my quest for my new yoga mat. My yoga instructor for my beginner class raved about this little boutique for a while, so I was confident that I would find the kind of mat I was looking for there. I ended up buying a Jade Yoga mat. They plant a tree for every mat purchase, it's made of a natural rubber (from a rubber tree), thick and cushie enough for my liking and when it wears out, it's biodegradable and won't end up in a landfill. And as I was leaving the store, a lady was standing on the sidewalk chatting with a man and she saw me leaving and said, "There's a happy Bhavana customer. Best mat I've ever had!" So I'll take that as a good purchase :-)

Guess what else I found there? A super comfy Lily Lotus "Om Burnout Longsleeve" shirt in black (for about $20 cheaper than the site), and an adorable Canadian made Cura wear yoga tank (equally comparable comfort level of Lulu which I got on sale for a little bit less than a standard lulu tank) and I love it! I like it more than any of my Lulu tanks, if ya can believe that :-) I hate the idea that I love lulu so much that I'm starting to be a walking advertisement for them. So I'm glad I found this boutique that carries a small, but awesome selection of the athletic wear. I'm sad that the Cura site is currently under construction because I wanted to show you how cute this tank is!

Apart from all of that, I'm enjoying my Easter Monday day off. I'm sore from yesterday's run :-( It's not my hip so much as my friggin' foot! I'm peeeeved. I am going to take it easy on it this week and maybe concentrate on getting some actual strength training in because Saturday is our big hike up Cape Split! I hope mother nature cooperates!
