We’re Live and it’s Friiiiiiday Niigggght!!!

Happy Friday to everyone! I have been beat tired all week and I look forward to hitting the sack tonight and “sleeping in” to the hour of around 8:30. I find that waking up on my own at around 8:30 on a Saturday, brewing a pot of coffee and sipping it while I blog and browse makes me feel so rested and relaxed. It’s the new age version of drinking coffee and reading the newspaper I guess!

This morning for Breakfast I shocked myself again and opted out of oatmeal. Mostly because of a lack of time factor. Instead I had a fantastic bowl of vanilla Liberte No Fat Pro biotic yogurt topped with Blue Menu granola, pom seeds and blueberries. I had a half of a banana left from the oatmeal I made the other day, so I cut it in half lengthwise and sandwiched some real almond butter in the middle and since I wanted to boost some more protein into the mix, I ate my yogurt with some almond butter on my spoon. Mmmmm I heart almond butter! I miss it! I’ve been using PB2 and Chocolate PB2 lately instead to save on calories, but every now and then the real stuff is required! I had a cup of joe, as per usual in a new mug :-):

I have to say though that even though this breakfast was delicious, I felt my tummy rumbling at 10:00 easy. Oatmeal keeps me going pretty steady and even if I feel a little rumble before lunch I can either snack or not and I won’t feel ravenous at lunchtime if I didn’t have a Snack. But today I WAS so I had some Kashi honey sesame crackers with some chocolate PB2 on top:

kashicrackers&CPB2I had the leftover “beef and broccoli” for Lunch today and it was pretty substantial. It was also pretty delicious! Although maybe difficult to tell, this is 95% veggies:

And as I have said many times, Friday night tends to be “pizza” night in our house. I have to say on a Friday night after a long work week, I usually want nothing more. So while hubby ordered delivery, for Supper I gave the Amy’s pizza I had in the freezer a try. It was the roasted vegetable one which shitake mushrooms, sweet onoins and roasted red pepper and it had no cheese.

I didn’t know what to expect, but I LOVED it! Even without cheese! The sweet onions made it so yummy. I did sprinkle some fresh parm reggiano on top and I had it with a toss salad with balsamic vinaigrette. It was all delicious and filling:

Not pictured here is about 4 small garlic fingers I had from hubby’s small sized order. I just can’t not have them!

OH and the fun and exciting news is that WE’RE LIVE now with our Message Board for BLBE! Anyone can join in, so feel welcome to come and chat!

I love the forum because now I have more options where I can razz you and your "A-Team" :) Losers :p

I love the Amy's pesto pizza - I've been afraid of the ones that don't have cheese, because hey - pizza without cheese is not pizza. But I'm going to give it a try after your review.

PS The new mugs sucks. I miss Santa!

The forums look fab! Great work ladies. I'm looking forward to spending time on them, although I'm going to have to work on my time management to read all the BLBE blogs, keep up with the forums, and WORK OUT and still spend time with the hubby and kids.

I have been eating oatmeal for breakfast and fruit and yogurt for lunch - the best of both worlds!!

I LOVE your new mug - I saw those at Starbucks and so wanted to buy one (or two!)!

I really need to try this almond butter you speak of.

...But I think I'm gonna stay far, far away from the cheeseless pizza! Haha

That breakfast looks yummy! I have been on a peanut butter kick lately. I bought some PB2 awhile back but never used it. I wonder if it is still good? Need to do something to get my PB fix without all that fat all the time.
