We are about half way through the weekend so far and I’m happy to report that so far so good on my end. I have eaten lots of filling foods today and my belly feels full. I started off the day with a deliciously enjoyable cup of coffee with blend cream and sugar free cinnamon dolce syrup (of course):
It seems to be a routine for me on the weekends where I don’t actually get my Breakfast until around 11:00 so this morning I made my bowl of oatmeal, only I indulged a bit more on the toppings. I topped it with some Chocolate PB2, toasted unsweetened coconut chips, some sweet & savory trail mix and a small spoonful of almond butter. Oh how I love real almond butter! What a treat this was:
Then I got busy around the house and did a “hands and knees” scrub of the upstairs floors and a general clean of the kitchen and family room. It took me a good few hours, and somewhere in there I snagged one of these little guys for a little mini Snack:
For Lunch I made a Guiltless Gourmet black bean chipotle wrap in the oven and topped it with some fat free sour cream, Pete’s Frootique medium salsa and some grated part-skim mozzarella cheese:
And a side of Mocha Liberte No Fat Probiotic Svelte yogurt with some fresh sliced strawberries:
With a nice cold glass of diet orange crush and my vitamins:
What deliciously satisfying lunch!
I bought a bag of Bob’s Red Mill Veggie Soup Mix when I was with Lynn at the grocery store a few weeks ago and gave it a try for Supper tonight. I simmered it in organic low sodium chicken broth with some fresh thyme and fresh savory (trying to use up the last of the holiday herbs). I also had a little bit of the pork tenderloin leftover from the other night, so I cubed it and put it in at the end. I gotta tell yas, it might not look like much, but this is a phenomenal soup! And it even has alphabet vegetable pasta noodles in it: :-D
And even though my tummy is very much full, I felt like a sweet treat, so I had two mini toblerone bars and some cocoa snaps:
And that was it for today bloggies! I’m not getting ready for Farm Girl and big J to come over for a visit. Tomorrow we are planning hot yoga again and of course there is talk of another snow storm heading our way! It better not be too yucky for yoga!

Good job cleaning ; that's some good exercise, huh!
I wanted to tell you that I am using your invaluable "cheesecake in the toilet" trick for some rolls that we have in the kitchen that are calling my name! I just keep thinking, "yucky -fell in the toilet"! So far, it's working ... :)LOL!!!!

Oh, your strawberries just about made my eyeballs pop out of my head. Blessed red bites of heaven. I wish we had some over here that didn't first come from the freezer. It makes me miss the summer. :o )
