I am 29 years old from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. This blog has detailed my daily trials and tribulations of my journey losing over 100 lbs, successes, set backs and most importantly perseverance.
Among all of the obvious benefits to losing the weight, my weight loss has brought me the most precious gift of all, becoming a Mommy :-) As a woman with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), obesity was a potential roadblock standing in the way of becoming a mother. Having lost over 100 lbs, I have been given life's most precious gifts and now embark my journey to motherhood where I will no doubt fumble my way through just as I did losing the weight! ;-) I just know that the journey ahead of me can only surpass the amazing journey I have already believed to be the biggest accomplishment of my life.
